A DOCUMENTARY BY HNIN EI HLAING (aka SNOW)
Myanmars democratic transition from a former military dictatorship is widely hailed, yet still fragile. The biggest threat to it's success is the persecution of Muslims (Rohingya) by Buddhists - the international community accuses of ethnic cleansing.
The film portraits two midwives: A Buddhist Rakhine and a Muslim Rohingya who collaborate in a self-made clinic, despite their ethnic affiliations. We will observe their daily struggles. And their efforts in building peace.
