Since the appointment of a Loneliness Minister in the United Kingdom in 2018, it is official that loneliness is a serious problem of our Western society. With ALL IS LONELINESS we want to capture the feeling of loneliness and make it tangible for the viewer. The focus of the film should be on people who are not directly related to this topic; the 20-50-year-olds: people who are in the midst of life and are successful in their professional lives.
In order to the protagonists to express themselves freely, voices can not be clearly assigned to the faces of the people in the picture. Nonetheless, this very conscious design creates a strong contextual connection that makes the condition of "bad" as well as "good" loneliness emotionally tangible for the viewer.
